Introducing the HELIX CRAWLER
The patented HELIX CRAWLER is a pipe-crawler. It travels faster, more precise and with a better drag-force than its competitors. The HELIX CRAWLER easily passes through steep bends (1.5D) as well as equal Tees.
Several configurations for the The HELIX CRAWLER are developed, targeting different pipetech segments. It is being commercially introduced in Q1 - Q2, 2010. Assignments in the introductory phase range from dry inspection jobs to riser inspections.

Project 01
In theory any intervention-technology can be attached to the unit. For instance, a spectrum of inspection interventions such as seismic, ultrasonic sound, magnetic flux, visual, Eddy Current etc. are possible configurations.

Successful Qualification Test
The 10'' HELIX CRAWLER, aimed at interventions within 10'' risers, underwent a successful qualification test in January 2010.
